Music from the spires of Uppsala Cathedral has ancient roots, stretching back to the 17th century. The Brass Quintet Linnékvintetten at Musik i Uppland har revived this highly appreciated tradition in 1986. Andrew Canning, the organist at Uppsala Cathedral, is also participating on this CD.
