instrumental christmas record from the improvisation group Trio
X. The Trio has been inspired by swedish christmas songs, and is interpreting them in their own way. Trio X members are Lennart Simonsson piano,
Per V Johansson bass, and Joakim Ekberg-drums, and this is their first
cd together. The Trio has since the start 2002 been working with own
material, but also with a lot of outstanding swedish musicians. "In
dulci jubilo" contents three hymnes, three folk music chorals,
three dances and a song by the swedish composer C J L Almkvist. Musik i Uppland |
